What personal information we collect and why we collect it
Registration
On our website we offer users the opportunity to register by providing personal data. The data is entered into an input mask and transmitted to us and stored. The following data is collected as part of the registration process:

Purpose of data processing
User registration is necessary to register for the conference and to submit scientific contributions.
Registration is a prerequisite for using the personalized functions on our website such as:
- Submission of individual contributions and working groups
- Booking conference participation
- Booking of other events associated with the conference
- If necessary, download conference contributions
If an invoice is created for conference participation, the following information must be completed in the user profile:
- Address
We use the contact details to provide you with information about booked conferences or submitted scientific contributions and to clarify any questions that may arise.
As part of the conference, your submitted scientific contributions will be reviewed and published (e.g. as a download on this website or as part of an abstract volume).
Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our site to recognize multiple uses of our offer by the same user/internet connection owner. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser places and saves on your computer. They serve to optimize our website and our offers. These are so-called “session cookies” that are deleted at the end of your visit.
